About SeeCite

When I started SeeCite in the summer before my senior year, I wanted to hone in on an issue many students face. When people read texts, articles, or books, they internalize knowledge quickly and take away key points effectively, what we don’t store are things like page numbers or the locations of these quotes. We’ve all been there, we know something, but can’t pinpoint where it is without time spent parsing through pages of books.

This lapse in memory makes the essay-writing process more time-consuming and taxing than it needs to be. On a student-focused note, SeeCite reallocates time and mental bandwidth away from searching for quotes they know exist and allows them to hone their skills on the creative writing process.

SeeCite isn’t just a tech startup; it’s an interdisciplinary student project. Every aspect of SeeCite is designed with the student's needs in mind, aiming to make the research and citation process seamless, efficient, and user-friendly.
